Obituary for Billy A Kirtz

Billy Kirtz, 84, passed away on October 7, 2017 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.  He was born March 12, 1933 to the late Rudy and Ethel Kirtz in Henderson.  Billy was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and owned Kirtz Body Shop.  He was a KY Colonel, Lifetime member of Masonic Jerusalem Lodge #958, member of the Moose Lodge and loved to play cards.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Tony and Robby Kirtz.  Survivors include his wife Lydia; 1 daughter, Melissa (George) Ocanas of Cypres, TX, Grandchild; Susan (Fiance Dan) Kirtz of TX.  Extended family and cherished friends Judy and Charlie Greenwald and his special friend Scout. Pallbearers, Barry Burton, Bill Marver, Scott Keach, Houston Keach, Rodney Williams, Billy Fryer, Charlie McCollom, Issac Justice.  Honorary Pallbearer Sonny Burton. Funeral Service will be held on October 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Pastor Mark Moog will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.  Online condolences can be made at
