Obituary for Dorothy Ann Jones

Dorothy Ann (Jones) Jones, 71, passed away at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born on April 11, 1946 to the late Melvin and Lonell Jones in Geneva, KY.  Dorothy retired from Sureway in Henderson where she was a baker in the deli, she loved taking care of her kids and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shelby Jones; Son, Kemp Jones; Daughter, Pam Gagne; 3 brothers, Paul, Harold and Gerald Jones; 3 sisters, Margie Jones, Shirley Husk and Christine Cook. Survived by 3 children, Lori Wise of Henderson, KY, Randy (Kimberly) Jones of Henderson, KY, Sheila (Lee) Glunt of Robards, KY; 3 Grandchildren Amber (Matt) Coney, Megan Jones and David Gagne; 3 Great Grandchildren Ameilia Coney, Jesse Belt and Austin Gagne; 1 brother, Darrell Jones of Henderson, KY; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be October 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, KY.  Randy Jones will be officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Lori Wise, Amber Coney, Matt Coney, Sheila Glunt, Lee Glunt and Tommy Belt.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
