Obituary for Erica Cheryleen Simpson

Erica Cheryleen Simpson, 44 of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Slaughters became a Heavenly Angel on April 5, 2017.
She was born on December 16, 1972 in Evansville, IN. Erica was a Member of New Salem United Methodist Church until it merged with Onton United Methodist Church where she is currently a member.
Erica was a 1990 graduate of Webster County High School and a 1995 Graduate of Murray State University. She was a Staff Assistant at Western State Hospital for the past 4 years and had previously worked at the Hopkins County Health Department for 11 years. She was a member of KPHA.
She was preceded in death by grandparents; Louis Jackson, William E. Simpson, Jr. and Cheryl Simpson, and an uncle Don Simpson.
Erica is survived by her parents; Eric and Kitty (Jackson) Simpson of Onton, KY.
Grandmother; Mary Lee (Grisham) Jackson of Onton, KY.
Uncle and Aunt; Bobby and Carole Jackson of Kingsport, TN
Aunt; Norma Simpson of Oregon
Cousins; Jessica Jackson, Brian (Morgan) Jackson and Jennifer (Mike) Young
Numerous other cousins and extended family.
Services will be held Monday April 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Onton United Methodist Church.
Pastor Marty Robertson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the Church.
Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to either New Salem Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 391, Sebree, KY 42455 or Onton United Methodist Church Building Fund.
