Obituary for Monte Ray Ward

Monte Ray Ward, 65, of Henderson, Ky passed away January 15, 2018. He was born June 26, 1952 to Robert L. and Betty Ward.Monte retired from Dana in 2016 after over 40 years of service. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Temple, an avid sports fan, coached Henderson County Youth Baseball, and was a proud grandfather.He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha (Arnold) Ward, two daughters, Allison Conner and her husband Justin and Melissa Allinder. Other survivors include his mother, Betty Ward Jenkins, two siblings, Suzan Mitchell and her husband Sherman, Randall Ward and his wife Tracey, four grandchildren Garrett and Claire Allinder and Alana and Andrew Conner.   Services will be Friday 11:00 AM January 19, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Brother Rick O’Daniel officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 4 -8 PM and on Friday 9 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, Jon Allinder, Tyler Ward, Jackson Ward and Justin Conner. Online Condolences can be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com
