David Morris

January 20, 1947 — May 18, 2025

David Morris, 78, of Henderson passed away Sunday May 18, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.



He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on January 20, 1947 to the late Daniel and Hilda (Hope) Morris.



David was proud US Army veteran and a retired truck driver with a passion for gardening, hunting and fishing.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Mauma and brother Phillip Morris.



He is survived by his life partner of 34 years Nellie Pruitt; three children Becky Smith, Judy Presley, Robert Pruitt; sister Sharon Craig (Keith Dame); 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews.



Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday May 22, 2025 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.



Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
