Dorothy Irene Murch

Dorothy Irene Murch, 89, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Redbanks Nursing Home.

She was born in Tildon, KY on May 15, 1936 to the late Alfred and Ozel (Wilson) Stone.

She had worked at Gibbs Die Casting and was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Gary Oliver and Kathy Smith; grandson, Zachery Oliver; and two brothers, James Stone and Alfred Stone Jr.

Survivors include three children, Diane (Wayne) Hancock of Henderson, Bruce (Aimee) Oliver of Uniontown, and Rhonda (David Skaggs) Murch of Henderson; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Cambron of Smith Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor David Petrie officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17 from 9 a.m. until service time.
