Etta Mae Womack

Etta M. Womack was taken to her eternal resting place on August 20, 2022 at 11:00 PM. Etta was born November 26, 1931 in Morganfield, KY to the late Burt McCollum and Margaret Hurt. She was 90 years old at the time of her death. She was married and devoted to the late William H (Bill) Womack for 62 years. Her career was in banking for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Helen Orsburn, Ida Henderson, and James McCollum Together they raised a loving family of five children who still survive: Zack N. Womack and his wife Mara Beth Womack of Henderson, William Randall “Randy” Womack and his wife Cindy Womack of Henderson, Kara Womack Ferrell of Herrin, IL, James G. Womack and his wife Mona Womack of Lexington, KY, and Jason Womack of Mt Vernon, IN. Additional survivors include twelve grandchildren; Dax Womack, Nic Womack, Mason Womack, Casey Womack, Kelley Flynn, Emily Heistand, Jacob Womack, Joel Womack, Chelsea Clampitt, Morgan Stevens, and Logan Ballard. There are 19 great grandchildren; Baylee Womack, Beckam Womack, Blake Womack, Bo Womack, Taylor Womack, Rachel Womack, Grace Womack, Brooklyn Flynn, Carson Flynn, Houston Flynn, Parker Heistand, Randy Womack, Barbie Womack, Will Womack, Liz Womack, Henry Clampitt, Amelia Clampitt, Khaleesi Ballard, and Noah April. What a truly wonderful life! Graveside Services will begin 1 pm on Wednesday 8/24/2022 at Fairmont Cemetery 1807 US-60, Henderson, KY 42420. Reverend David Clifford will officiate. Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society. Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
