Herman Cecil Holder

June 24, 1943 — September 16, 2021

Herman Cecil Holder, 78 of Reed, passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway.  He was born in Henderson County to June 24, 1943 to the late Marvin and Beulah (Ward) Holder.  Herman was retired from Whirlpool.  He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Masonic Lodge 130.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons Terry and Curtis Snodgrass, brothers and sisters.  Survivors include his wife of 50 years Shannon Holder; 3 sons Mark Allen Holder, Brian Keith Holder both of Calhoun and Ricky Holder of Spottsville; his dog who was his pride and joy Levi; 1 sister Helen Ann Staples of Owensboro; 5 grandchildren Baron Holder, Dylan Holder, Myles Holder, Terry Holder, Travis Holder; nieces and nephews.  Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday September 18, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Rev. Dennis Mayfield officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Terry Holder, Travis Holder, Ricky Holder, Eric Harmon, Brian Bugg and David Gibson.
