James Phillip Larue

James Phillip LaRue, 58, of Henderson, KY, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at Deaconess Union County Hospital in Morganfield, KY.

Phil was born December 5, 1964, in Henderson, KY to Joyce (Stone) Cambron and the late Donald LaRue. He volunteered as a social worker at St. Vincent de Paul. He was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Phil enjoyed watching westerns and hunting. He loved life in general and enjoyed helping people.

In addition to his father, Phil was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lou LaRue, and step-father, Billy Gene Cambron.

Phil is survived by his daughter, Lacy Hill (Matt) of Henderson, KY; mother, Joyce (Stone) Cambron of Waverly, KY; brother, Greg LaRue (Debbie) of Smith Mills, KY; grandchildren, Hunter Durham, and Adelyn Durham.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19, 2023, 11:00 AM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Bro. Tim Shockley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 4:00-7:00 PM and Thursday, 9:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
