Joe Odle

May 9, 1964 — September 9, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and much love to announce that Joe Michael Odle passed away Monday, September 9, 2024.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and love of his life of 21years, Julie, whom he lovingly referred to as his bride. He also leaves behind his sister, Linda Priscilla; his aunt, who was like his second mom, Maxine Boyd; father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Wanda Schoenbaum; sister-in-law, Cindy Fruehling; brother-in-law, Mark Schoenbaum (Sondra) and Cliff Schoenbaum (Ericka); nieces, Jen Lowry (Mike) and Rosie Koulumbris (Eddie); four great nieces; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Grace Odle and his brother, Timmy Odle.

Joe was a 1983 graduate of Henderson County High School and 1987 graduate of University of Kentucky. He played football for University of Louisville for two years. In 2009, he was inducted into the Henderson County Sports Hall of Fame for football and again in 2016 for track, where he competed in Shot Put.

was commonly known for his sense of humor and contagious personality. He never met a stranger and had a way of brightening a room. He loved spending time at his farm and tinkering with his tractors. Smoking ribs and grilling steaks were one of his passions, as he was a master chef on the grill.

He had a love for all animals, especially his fur babies, Abe, Nellie, and Piper. There will forever be a void in the lives of all who knew him.
