Joseph Ray Nelson

Joseph Ray Nelson, 55 of Henderson passed away Saturday January 6, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Joesph was born in Madisonville Kentucky to Jerry Ray and Carolyn (Heltsley) Nelson.

He was a member of Dupey Baptist Church; enjoyed fishing, hunting, hunting for arrowheads, ginseng and morrells.

Joseph was preceded by his father Jerry Ray Nelson and his sister Jana Gibson.

He is survived by his daughters Madison Lynn and Kaitlin Ray Nelson; mother Carolyn Nelson; Grandmother Jean Heltsley; niece Kera Evans; nephews Kyle Gibson and Kole Gibson, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday January 10, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with burial to be at a later date.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM-7:00 PM Tuesday January 9, 2024, at the funeral home and on Wednesday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
