Larry Donn (LD) Frasier, 68 of Eddyville, KY and formerly of Sebree passed away Friday July 11, 2025 at his home under the care of Pennyroyal Hospice.
He was born in Madisonville, KY on October 25, 1956 to the late Cecil Clarence and Emma Jean (Edwards) Frasier, Jr.
LD worked for Alcan Aluminum for 20 years, then went to work at Deer Creek Lodge as a hunting guide. He also fished professionally on the FLW Tour, traveling all around the country and competing against some of the best in bass fishing. He loved to talk fishing with anyone and some of his most cherished friendships were formed because of fishing. Through his guide career he worked with and met many people that became friends. His contact list in his phone is full of people that came as clients and left as friends. He kept in touch with many over the years. He had the best bird dogs around and always bragged on them.
He married the love of his life on June 30, 2007. He would tell anybody that Karen was the best thing that ever happened to him, and they all agreed. They went on their first date just for fun and 24 years later they were still having fun.
Pappaw LD enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved to fire up the grill, show off his skills, feed, and fellowship with his family and friends. When he wasn’t feeding his people he loved feeding his raccoons, and watching his birds and squirrels.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Steve Frasier and mother in law Hazel Jackson.
