Linda Diane "Mclaughlin" Meredith

Linda Diane “McLaughlin” Meredith, 68, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born in Poteau, OK on January 23, 1956, to Thomas and Lula Bell (Ward) McLaughlin.

Linda had a deep passion for taking care of others and served as president of the Henderson Nursing and Rehab Resident Council. She had a special fondness for Dr. Pepper, but her greatest love was for her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Bell McLaughlin.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Conrad (Tim) of Niagara and Jason Lovio (Aracely) of Manteca, CA; five grandchildren, Krystina Hudnall (Matt), Bradley Conrad (Sara), Darin Lovio, Leonardo Lovio, and Max Lovio; five great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hudnall, Jade Hudnall, Amelia Hudnall, Lilly Ann Conrad, and Waylon Hudnall; father, Tom McLaughlin (Lydia) of Corydon; siblings, Brenda Hockenberry (Steve) of Eufaula, OK, Tommy McLaughlin (Sandra) of Heavener, OK, Ricky McLaughlin of Tulsa, OK, Timmy McLaughlin of Corydon, Stevie McLaughlin of Corydon, Randy McLaughlin of Corydon, Robert McLaughlin (Amber) of Poole, and Rhonda Gatewood of Boxville; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Marcie.

Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, August 21 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Robert Duncan officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 21 from 10 a.m. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Ricky McLaughlin, Randy McLaughlin, Robert McLaughlin, Tim Conrad, Bradley Conrad, and Matt Hudnall. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom McLaughlin, Jason Lovio, Darin Lovio, and Conner McLaughlin.

The family would like to thank all of the family she had at Henderson Nursing and Rehab especially the ones who has loved her for the last 9 years.  She was definitlely not the quietest sweet little old lady at the nursing home.  She was the sweet and spunky one that would keep you on your toes.  Also, a huge thank you to the emergency room staff and ICU staff at Deaconess Henderson Hospital and the Lucy Smith King Hospice center for providing excellent care of her in her final days.
