Linda Faye Collier

Linda Faye Collier, 77, of Henderson, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Linda was born in Posey County, IN on June 8, 1945 to the late Gussie and Pauline (Blackston) Duncan.

She had worked in quality control at Service Tool and Plastics. Linda was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with them, including attending her grandchildren’s games. She loved worshipping the Lord and was a member of New Life Worship Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Collier; sisters, Azalia Viars and Doris Dickerson; and brothers, Elvey Thomas Duncan, Kenneth Lee Duncan, Donald Wayne Duncan, and Jerry Ray Duncan.

She is survived by her children, Greg Young of LaGrange, KY, Lisa Gail Abell of Henderson, and Jeffery Young (Salena) of Robards; siblings, William Duncan (Marilyn) of Griffin, IN, Gus Duncan (Patricia) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Carolyn Davis of Henderson, Glenda Lomax of Jeffersonville, IN, and Michael Duncan (Deritha) of Henderson; nine grandchildren, Aron Abell (Tiffany), Eric Abell (Christina), Erica Duckworth (Chris), Kyle Young (Chelsea), Holly Perriman (Keenon), Chelsey Thomas, Jacob Young (Ryann), Mindy Daneau, and Jamie Frasier; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 at Tomblinson Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Duncan officiating.

Burial will follow at Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, September 29 from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers will be Aron Abell, Eric Abell, Kyle Young, Jacob Young, Chris Duckworth, and Keenon Perriman.
