Luciana "Lucy" Laine Nash

Luciana Laine Nash of Henderson and Corydon, Kentucky, died August 13, 2024 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She was 9 years old.

Lucy loved to sing and looked forward to praying every night. She adored climbing trees and spent hours adventuring outside.

Lucy found a friend in every room. She lived for rainbows, hugs, and tacos. She didn’t give up on anything or anyone. She could always stop to help. She was always looking for the brightest color.

She leaves behind four parents, Rachael Eckels and Jake Lively, Ryan Nash and Anne Pritchett Nash; along with six siblings, G (14), Madeleine (13), Penny (12), Aiden (9), Rosaleen (4) and Wynston (3).

A bright pink celebration of Lucy’s life will be held at Preston Arts Center on the campus of Henderson Community College on August 24 at 11 a.m. with a private burial to follow.

Visitation will be held at Preston Arts Center on August 23 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services are  being coordinated by Tomblinson Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established for Lucy at Field and Main bank.
