Wanda Mcdonald

Wanda Parker McDonald, 80, of Henderson, KY passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Hospice Care Center.

She was born in Henderson, KY to Charles and Pearl B. Parker.

Wanda retired as an Administrative Secretary at Sunoco Products in Henderson. She loved working in the yard, planting flowers, decorating her house, and watching UK basketball with her husband, Tommy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Thomas M. McDonald, her parents Charles and Pearl Parker, two sisters, Margaret Ann Nelson and Betty Noffsinger, and one brother Sonny Parker.

She is survived by her daughter Tracey M. Williams and her husband Stan; three grandchildren, Kristin, Jesse(Katey), and Zachary(Riley), and her brother-in-law, who has been more like a son, Randy(Sheila), one sister, Nancy Childers, and one brother Donnie Parker. Also, she has five great grandchildren, Preston, Logan, Hayden, Mabe, and Jameson.

The pallbearers will be Stan Williams, Randy McDonald, Zachary Williams, Kristin Williams, Jesse Williams, Joey McDonald, and Bruce Farris. The honorary pallbearer will be Dan McDonald.

The visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel, on Thursday, April 25th from 10-12. Services will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Baskett Cemetery in Baskett, KY.
