Agreta Joyce Stone, 83 of Henderson passed away Friday May 1, 2015 at 11:45 AM at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was born in Henderson County to Marion Edward and Emmer Frances (Chandler) Mitchell on January 11, 1932. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband and father of her children Melvin Owens, 2nd husband Henry Gatewood, 3rd husband Leroy Stone and brother Gregory Mitchell. Survivors include 6 children: Mike Owens and wife Marsha of Henderson Sherry Townsend of Henderson Mary Gibson of Henderson Brenda Owens of Henderson Anthony Owens of Henderson Pam Waggener and husband Scott of Corydon, KY 2 Stepdaughters: Susan Thomas of Henderson Debra Cox of Henderson 4 Sisters: Auricula Wachter of California Melba Barton of Henderson Eddie Lee Wachter of Bellflower, California Dayadre Dayvolt of Henderson 2 brothers: James Daryl Mitchell of Dixon Mert Mitchell of Texas Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Phil Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4-8PM and Tuesday 11:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Thomas Waggener, Josh Waggener, Matt Owens, Terry Townsend, Scott Waggener and Tim Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Townsend and Brandon Townsend.
