Alan Daughtrey, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2024, under the compassionate care of St. Anthony's Hospice. He was born on September 13, 1962, in Salem, Kentucky, to the late Floyd and Hazel Daughtrey.
Alan proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. Alan was known for his joyful spirit, evident in his love for photography, singing, cooking, and fishing. He cherished the moments spent with his friends and family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Marlon Linzy.
He is survived by his two sons, Dane Daughtrey (Kate) and Hank Daughtrey (Alyssa); his sister, Vicki Linzy; his brother, Norman Arflack (Cindy); and his two grandchildren, Emery and Adley Daughtrey. Alan also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Alan’s life will be 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.
Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 PM, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the from of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
