Albert Harding Crafton

October 18, 1925 — July 26, 2015

Albert Harding Crafton (Frosty), 89, of Evansville, Indiana died July 26, 2015 at The Samaritan Home. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving in Japan. He was retired from Kent Plastics after 43 years. He was an avid gardener and was well known and much appreciated for his “Midas Touch” with his tomatoes. A loving and generous father and grandfather, he will be greatly remembered and missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy M. Crafton and eight siblings. He is survived by his son, Larry E. Gates and his wife Judi, granddaughters, Andrea D. Reller and her husband Todd, Laurel D. Knapp and her husband Jeff, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are his sister, Sara Boswell of Henderson and brother, Wilber Crafton (Bud) of Knoxville, TN There will be no visitation with a private burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
