He enjoyed playing drums for Boots Randolph, Rusty Pendergraft, Dee Austin, Les Smithhart, and many others. His wife Cindy would always say, “Couldn’t you have played a tambourine because this roadie gets tired of loading a truck full of drums every weekend?” Butch’s musical abilities enabled him to play any instrument he picked up.
Butch’s other interests included flying R/C airplanes and camping. He loved spending time with his family and fur babies; Pistol and Remington. He may have been a man of few words, but he could truly enjoy a sweet at the table and a smoke in the garage.
