Allen L Spurlin

Allen “Smoof” Spurlin, 40 of Henderson passed away May 18, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. He was born November 5, 1977 to David William Spurlin and Paulette Butts.Allen was a cook for Eastgate Family Restaurant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Emma and Richard Beals and Lillian and J.W. Spurlin, aunt; Mary Frances Spurlin. "Smoof" is survived by his mother and step father; Paulette and Rick Butts, fiancée; Kristy Toy, 6 children; Kaelee Stephens, Austin Barker, Stephanie Boatman, Kimberly Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Raylin Wilson, two brothers; David Wayne Spurlin and Steven Michael Spurlin, one sister; Misty Spurlin, two step sisters; Amber Wood and Anna Stone, two step brothers; Timothy Davis and Justin Butts, two grandchildren; Reagan Book and Kenneth Wilson, four legged daughter; Momma, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service celebrating the life of Allen “Smoof” Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Countryview Baptist Church at 3:00  PM with Rev. Randy Duncan officiating. Visitation will be May 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
