Alvin J. Bishop

Alvin J. Bishop Sr. age 74 of Henderson passed Friday March 13,2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville Indiana. He was a retired supervisor for the Sugar Mill and a Member of Hyland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Alva J. and Marie Mary (Nobles) Bishop and a sister Maxine Franklin. He is survived by his wife Helen M. Bishop of Henderson. 4 Children: Alvin Bishop Jr. and his wife Sylvia , Kevin Bishop, Elizabeth Arnold and her Husband Buddy and Cindy Wolfe and her husband Rolland all of Fort Myers florida. 2 Step-children: Daniel Smith and his wife Carrie of Henderson and Lisa Nall and her husband Clay of Newburgh Indiana. 2 sisters: Carolyn and Janice Nobles of Florida 12 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren Visitation will be Monday March 16, 2015 3P.M till service time at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Memorial services will be Monday March 16, 2015 at 6 P.M with Brother Kenny Kidd officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hyland Baptist Church.
