Amelia Grace Twist

Amelia “Emmy” Grace Twist passed on from this life and into the arms of Jesus before her birth on July 3rd, 2024 at 6:55 am.

At 1 pound 5 ounces Amelia’s life was, from the start, a ministry of teaching. Teaching all of those who love her about adjusting to the unexpected, and forgiving, healing, and trusting in the lord.  She will continue ministering to the lives of people who are hurting through the testimony of her family and loved ones.

Amelia opened her eyes in Heaven and was welcomed by her Nene, who she was named after, Emily Newman. She was also welcomed by great grandmothers, Glenda Trodglen and Alice Wells; As well as Uncle John Gutermuth.

Left to grieve Amelia’s absence but forever keep her memory alive are her parents, Courtney Wells and Levi Daniel of Henderson, Kentucky. Two big brothers who already adored her and awaited her arrival, Zayn and Ryder. Grandparents, Jason (Kendra) Wells and Deana Rape. Great Grandparents Duane and Diana Rape and Stanley Newman. A very special May-May, who loved Amelia as her own. Aunt AhAh (Ashton) and Uncle Brian Hobgood. Cousins Kentlee, Edith, Owen, Ross, and Braylin. Godmother Kayleigh Gower as well as extended friends and family.

Although Amelia’s eyes never witnessed this world we find peace in knowing that she is being rocked and cradled by all of those that we miss in Heaven. Emmy never had to feel pain or fear.

She never knew what heartbreak felt like or grief.

Amelia only knew the sounds of our voices, the warmth and safety of her momma, and the beautiful place that she woke up in.

Friends and family are invited to comfort the family at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, Kentucky on Wednesday July 10th, 2024 from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00pm. Pall bearer will be Tyler King and honorary pall bearers will be Zayn Wells and Ryder Twist

Contributions can be made to Blakely’s Breath of Life in Amelia’s memory. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, stuffed animals are welcome to be dropped off at TomblinsonFuneral Home for pediatric patients at Deaconess Henderson Hospital’s Emergency Department until service time on Wednesday.

A private burial will be held at a later time
