Amos Bailey

Amos Bailey, 84 of Bluff City, Kentucky passed away November 13, 2015 at Redbanks Nursing Home. He was born May 2, 1931 in Hazard, KY to William and Rebecca Jane (Williams) Bailey. He retired at Gamco as a Maintenance Superintendent. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita McQueen Bailey; daughter, Shirley Howard; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by 4 children: Sandra Perry of Detroit, MI Jewell Langford of Nashville, TN Janet Coker of Evansville, IN Scott Bailey of New Goshen, IN 1 sister: Ermadean Bailey of Lexington, KY 12 grandchildren Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Dr. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or American Cancer Society.
