Andre` Trawick, Jr.

Judge Andre` Trawick, Jr., 85 of Henderson, KY passed away Tuesday June 10, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born in New Orleans, LA on September 3, 1928 to the late Andre and Corinne (Blanchard) Trawick. He was a retired Federal Judge and a graduate of LSU and Loyola New Orleans School of law. He was also involved in numerous Henderson community organizations. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; of 58 years Louise (Gordijenko) Trawick 5 children; Andre` Trawick III of Dallas, TX Father Gregory Trawick of Cadiz, KY Armand Trawick of Ellington, FL Corinne Trawick of Henderson, KY Stephen Trawick and wife Dianne of King George, VA 1 sister; Gloria Engelhardt of New Orleans, LA 1 brother; Keith Trawick of San Antonio, TX 2 grandchildren; Dorothy Todd and Andre’ Trawick IV and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Noon Friday June 13, 2014 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Gregory Trawick will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 until 6:00 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday with Father Larry McBride at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be to Vocation Advocates of Holy Name or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
