Angela Blackwell

Angela Gail Blackwell, age 59, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on February 3, 2026. She was born on November 6, 1966, and lived in the Henderson area for most of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Harriet Puckett; her husband, David Blackwell; her brother, Danny Garrison; her sister-in-law, Tonya Garrison;  four children, Eric Blackwell, James “Jimmy” Coffman, Jamia Coffman, and Samantha “Mannabug” Hawkins. Angela was a proud grandmother to Brooklyn, John, Jayden, and Austin, and also leaves behind two step-grandchildren. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs, whom she loved dearly.

Angela was the strongest woman anyone knew and the realist friend anyone could have. She was a devoted daughter and the best mother her children could have asked for. She loved Scooby-Doo, Coca-Cola, butterflies, and her family more than anything. Her love and strength will live on through all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 1040 Market Street.
