Anna Jean Frields

Anna Jean Frields, 91, of Henderson passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab Center.  She was born in Beals, Kentucky on October 23, 1926 to the late Eugene and Dessa (Midkiff) Wedding.  She was the head bookkeeper for 40 years at Ohio Valley Bank.  Anna was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society as well as the Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxillary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Elbert Frields in 1988, 2 brothers Maurice Wedding, Herbert Wedding, 3 sisters Margie Fontaine, Elizabeth Rhea and Ethel Bentley. Surivors include 1 sister-in-law Betty Wedding of Henderson, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and Saturday 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  A prayer service will be held Friday Evening at 4:30 PM.
