Anna J. Lykins

Anna J. Lykins, age 84, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:47 a.m. in Washington County Hospital, Nashville, IL.     Anna was born on October 5, 1932 in Sebree, KY, a daughter to Parker and Macy (Hawkins) Brooks. On November 16, 1949, she married Willard Lykins in Morganfield, KY and he preceded her in death on November 26, 1979. Anna was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and especially loved her family and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Dunihoo of Coulterville, IL, Kathy (Joe) Schubert of Gillette, WY and Susan (James) Roethe of Golden Gate, IL; one brother, Donnie (Ruthie) Brooks of Slaughters, KY; one sister, Sue Vaughn of Sebree, KY; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Lykins; and one grandson, Chad Willard Schubert. Graveside services will be held at Springdale Cemetery, Sebree, Ky on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with family member Ernest Margelot officiating. Interment will be at Springdale Cemetery, Sebree, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Springdale Cemetery, Sebree, KY. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
