Anna (Blake) Oliver, 68, of Henderson, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.
She was born in Henderson on August 9, 1957 to the late Ernest and AnnaBelle (Phillips) Blake.
She was known by many as “Mom” or “Mamaw.” One of the first questions she asked when meeting someone was whether they preferred clean jokes or dirty ones—because she had plenty of both ready to share. Mamaw was never shy about sharing her thoughts or feelings and always spoke her mind. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, listening to classic rock at full blast, cooking, gossiping, and going yard-saling and shopping. She was known for her generous heart and always putting the needs of others before her own.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Oliver, six sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara Johnson (Marshall Coogle) of Hardinsburg, KY; granddaughter, Jess Miller (Beth) of Henderson; grandson, Joseph Biggs of Henderson; great grandson, Koen Biggs of Henderson; brother, Lewis Blake of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Mary Wrye officiating.
Burial will follow at Smith Mills Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, March 19 from 11 a.m. until service time.
