Audrey Lois Riggs

Audrey Lois Riggs, 92 of Hanson, died on November 6, 2015 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville. She was born in Hopkins County on November 16, 1922 to the late Robert Owen Ruby and Adell Ashby Ruby. She was a retired cook for Hanson School, where she worked for over 15 years. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Eugene Riggs in 2004, and two infant daughters Lois Jean Riggs and Doris Elaine Riggs. She is survived by her son, Ronald Gene (Vanessa) Riggs of Hanson, her grandchildren, Jaclyn Riggs and Michael Riggs of Hanson, and great grandchildren Joshua and Carissa Fletcher of Hanson. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel with Bro. Sam Beeny officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 9:00 until service time. Pallbearers will be David Riggs, Jimmy (Burt) Clayton, Neil Dame, Nick Burden, Dan Stoner, and Ray Ligon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerome (Frog) Riggs, Troy Overfield, and Harold Quinn.
