Barbara "Ace" Jane Talley

Barbara Jane Courtney Talley “Ace”, 76, passed away at 2:35 PM on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at her home in Little Dixie under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Smith Mills and the Kentucky Motorcycle Club “Kentucky Travelers” and Country Kickin’ Two Steppers Club. Barbara worked for CBS Dress Factory and retired from Gibbs Die Casting after 33 years. She enjoyed life, sewing, making each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren “Life” quilts, taking long trips on their motorcycle, family gatherings and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents James R. and Jane E. Todd Courtney Sr. of Little Dixie Survivors include her husband of 61 years Bobby Wayne Talley 4 Children: Dwayne Talley and wife Cathy of Robards, KY Darrell Talley of Sebree, KY Donna Talley Madden and husband Eddie Danny Talley and wife Angie all of Little Dixie 19 Grandchildren 20 Great-grandchildren 2 Brothers: Jimmy Courtney Jr. Larry Courtney both of Cadiz, KY 1 sister: Eula Givens of Little Dixie Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 22, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Justin Carter will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons; Jason Talley, Geoff Madden, Derek Talley, Aaron Talley, Sam Talley and Landon Talley. Honorary pallbearers will be her beloved granddaughters ; Angela Talley, Rachel Talley, Courtney Talley, Jennifer Madden and great grandchildren. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
