Becky Joyner

Rebecca (Buckman) Joyner, 61, of Henderson passed away Monday March 23, 2015 under the care of Hospice at the Lucy Smith Care Center in Henderson. She was born February 5, 1954 in Union County, Kentucky to the late Joseph Willard and Annie Louise (LaRue) Buckman. She was a beautician and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She loved to quilt cross stitch, and gardening. Her grandchildren called her “Ta Ta”. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Keith Logan Joyner of Henderson, KY 3 children: Alan (Amanda) Joyner of Henderson, KY Carrie (Rick) Keller of Henderson, KY Lori Pearcy of Henderson, KY 7 grandchildren: Caleb, Conner, and Cassidy Coomes, Morgan Stewart, Allie Keller, Phillip Pearcy, and Logan Stewart. 3 Sisters: Frieda Royster of Anderson, IN Sherry Ashby of Owensboro, KY Bonnie Bartley of Henderson, KY 2 Brothers: Charlie Buckman of Henderson, KY Jimmy Buckman of Grayville, IN Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 26, 2015 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church Henderson with Father Maury Riney officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery Henderson. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Wednesday March 25 and 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Prayers will be said at 6:00 PM Wednesday March 25, 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
