Bernice Rideout

Bernice Rideout, 69, of Henderson passed away Thursday December 22, 2016 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville. She was born in Henderson on November 21, 1947 to Lee V. and Carolyn (Siewert) Borum. Bernice was a homemaker and member of Eastview Baptist Church in Henderson. Her and her husband fostered over 250 children and they loved each one of them. She also loved to fish, crochet, quilt and going to her grandson's baseball games both home and away. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Wayne Rideout in 2011, 2 brothers Lee Borum and James Sonny Scott. Survivors include 3 sons Jesse Rideout of Henderson, Joby Rideout of Hopkinsville, Scott Rideout and wife Jeana of Evansville, 2 daughters Angie Adams and husband Brian, Edie Mae Hancock and husband Stephen both of Henderson, 1 brother Cleatus Jackson of Henderson, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Eastview Baptist Church. Bro. Jerry Pearcy and Bro. Donnie Risley will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 4-8PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
