Bessie Bell Neblett

Bessie Bell Neblett, 93, of Henderson, passed away Sunday November 5, 2017 at 7:55AM at Redbanks Nursing Home. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Will and Lillian Brooks on August 26, 1924. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gus Lewis Neblett, 1 son Willie Neblett, Sr. in 2015, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include 5 children Annie Johnson of Corydon, Susie Neblett, Bobby Neblett, Ervin Neblett all of Henderson, Willie Brooks of Gary, Indiana, 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday November 10, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Rev. Connie Baltzell will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday noon until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
