Bettie Jean Alexander

Bettie Jean Alexander, 76, of Henderson died July 10, 2013 at her residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Stella Vester, 6 children: Frank Funk, Robert Funk, Edward Funk, Roger Funk, Anna Marie Burton and Lloyd Sampson. She is survived by her husband Allen “Jello” Alexander, Jr. 10 children: Sharon Thomas, Eula Higginbotham, Bettie Jean Lindsey, Gayle Powell, Susan Leslie, Cheryl Kay Funk, Jeannie Jimenez, Cheryl Cors, Albert Funk and Michael Funk 2 Sisters: Dixie Funk and Neva Tabor both of Terre Haute, IN 1 Brother: William Blankenship of Tampa Bay, Florida 31 Grandchildren 55 Great-grandchildren 2 Great-great grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Monday July 15, 2013 at Advance Baptist Church in Baskett. Bro. Bob Whitter will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be Gregory Leslie, Avery Higginbotham, Adam Newcomb, Michael Crum, Ricky Lee Thomas, Scott Powell, Steve McCommac and Damen Hicks.
