Bettie Marie Freeburger

Bettie Marie (Crabtree) Freeburger, 85 of Henderson, KY passed away at 5:39 AM Sunday November 30, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on July 5, 1929 to the late Hubert W. and Mae (Brooks) Crabtree. She was a homemaker. Bettie was a very active member of Immanuel Baptist Temple. She taught Sunday School in her earlier years. She also volunteered with the disaster relief project sponsored by the Green Valley Baptist Association. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son James Harlin Freeburger in 1953, a brother William Robert Crabtree and Son-in-law; Merritt S. Dietz in 2009. Bettie is survived by her husband of 64 years Harlin B. Freeburger 2 daughters; Sandra Freeburger Dietz of Henderson, KY Cheryl F. Lucas and husband Jim of Henderson, KY Grandson; Bryan M. Lucas and wife Darcy of Henderson, KY 2 Great grandsons; Nate Lucas Cole Lucas Both of Henderson, KY Nieces and Nephews Many special friends Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday December 3, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Ken Gazaway and Rev. Ellis Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
