Betty Alfreda Parker

Betty Alfreda (Ross) Parker, 83, passed away 7:00 PM Wednesday December 22, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born October 24, 1927 in Akron, Ohio to David Ray and Queen (Stanley) Ross. She was a homemaker, a member of Onton Quilters, an active member of Sebree First Christian Church and an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doris Ray “Bear” Parker, 1 grandchild Tina Marie Parker, a sister Joanne Dickerson, 2 brothers George Ross and Richard Ross, son-in-law Kenneth Miser and daughter-in-law Jill Parker. She is survived by 2 daughters: Charlene Miser of Sebree, KY Shirley Jenkins of Sebree, KY 4 sons: David Parker of Bridgeport, West Virginia Bruce Parker of Sebree, KY Richard Parker, of Sebree, KY Robert Parker of Sebree, KY 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren Services will be 11:00 AM Monday December 27, 2010 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Bro. Bill Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Sunday December 26, 2010 and 9-11 AM Monday December 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clay Miser, Michael Miser, Nathan Parker, Christopher Parker, Tim Parker, Richard Parker, Jr., Brian Jenkins, James J, Jenkins, Jennifer Parker, Megan Scott, Michelle Orange. Zane Parker, and Aaron Parker. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sebree First Christian Church Building Fund.
