Betty Clement

Betty Clement, 92 of Bluff City passed away September 24, 2023, at Redbanks Nursing Home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice surrounded by her family.

Betty was born in Bluff City to the late Johnny and Mamie (Haire) Beals. She married her loving husband Rev. Raymond Clement on March 2, 1947.

She was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church.

Betty enjoyed quilting, cooking, word puzzles and especially enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Thomas Beals and Robert Haire Jr. and her grandson Mark O’Leary.

Betty is survived by her children Robert “Bobby” Clement (Terri), Raymond “Tommy “Clement (LeeG) and Culetti Hazelwood (Pat); her sister Dorothy Riddle; grandchildren Robert Clement Jr. (Tiffany), Melinda Clement, Lynette May, Patricia Welden (Allen) and Manda Brown; 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday September 29, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Billy Hatfield officiating with burial to follow in Mt Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM Thursday September 28, 2023, and on Friday 10:00 AM until service time.

Pallbearers are the grandsons Robert Clement Jr., Logan Haynes, Brandon Welden, Isaac Damrath, Aaron Welden, Clayton Brown, Conner Brown, and Eli Clement.
