Betty Joe Evans, 79, Henderson died at 1:00PM Saturday at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 18, 1937 in Henderson to Walter and Christine Hardy. She was a Deli Clerk at Sureway in Henderson and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Evans, parents Walter and Christine Hardy and one brother Donald Hardy. Survivors include 2 daughters: Brenda Evans of Henderson and Vanessa Beaty of Mississippi; 3 brothers: Billy Hardy, George Hardy, and Larry Hardy; 2 sisters: Ruthann Meredith and Glenda Eldridge; 3 grandsons: Hugh Allen Haire, Jr., Kevin Haire, and Daniel Edds; 3 great grandchildren: Whitley Cuellar, Trevor Haire, and Jacob and Kendall Edds. Funeral services will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 1:00PM. Visitation will be Tuesday 4:00-8:00PM and Wednesday 9:00AM- service time. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer's Association. Pallbearers will be Hugh Allen Haire, Jr., Kevin Haire, Daniel Edds, Trevor Haire, George Hardy, and Larry Hardy.
