Betty Hindman, 83, of Henderson, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
She was born March 11, 1941, in the same house where she passed away.
Betty was proceeded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joe Hindman; parents, Annie and James Gudgell; brother, Jim (Sunny) Gudgell; brother, William (Bill) Gudgell; and sister, Helen Vaught.
Survivors are her sons, Chris Moody and wife, Shree of Henderson, KY and Roby Moody and wife, Dawn of Azle, TX; grandchildren, Courtney Moody of Springtown, TX, Chase Moody of Jacksboro, TX, Olivia Moody of Arlington, TX, and Jake Moody of Springtown, TX; four great-grandchildren, Zane, Zaylee, Kaysen and Emeri.
Betty had a deep love for animals, raising potbelly pigs for several years and never met a kitten she didn't want to keep. Betty was a retired secretary and bookkeeper, but her favorite title was mom and grandmother. She was a wonderful and loving mom and grandma.
The family would like to say thank you to St Anthony Hospice for all their kindness and care, especially her nurse, Alyssa McGuire, and her wonderful caregivers, Alissa Huff, Kennedy Johnston, Eran Main, and Caitlin Noll.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor David Stone officiating. Graveside will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home, Monday, March 3, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday, March 4 from 9 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers are Chase Moody, Jake Moody, Jacob Huff, Harley Huff, JJ Poynter, and Joe Vaught.
