Bettie "June" Sneddon

Bettie “June” Griffin Sneddon, 92, of Robards, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born on June 7, 1933, in Robards, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Eula Griffin. June was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of Robards United Methodist Church. She and her late husband, Louis “Lou” Sneddon, shared many wonderful experiences together, including four years living in Ireland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Griffin and Bert Griffin; sisters, Mary Ruth Griffin, Martha Busby and Ruby King.

June is survived by her children; Ronnie Ashby of Robards, KY and Milton Ashby of FL, Kathleen Exe of Missoula, MT, Julie Todd of Twin Bridges, MT, Mary Bateman of Missoula, MT, Jennifer McCall of Missoula, MT, William “Bill” Sneddon of Richmond, VA and Tonia Simanton of Seattle, WA; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Pastors Rick Nollman and Kenny Palmer will officiate with burial in Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery in Robards, KY.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Friday, September 5 and 10:00 am until service time Saturday, September 6 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Sneddon, Earl McCall, Trevor Daniel, Ozzy O’Nan, Cotye Ashby and Brent Daniel.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Joe Fridy.
