Betty Jane Lewis

Betty J. Lewis, 86 of Madisonville passed away a 5:20 PM Thursday June 20, 2013 at NHC Nursing Home. She was born in Hopkins County on September 14, 1926 to Melvia (Brown) Jackson and Hollie Jackson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eldon Lewis, one daughter Marilyn Fuell, one son Gary E. Lewis, and 3 sisters Irma Lantrip, Georgia Uzzle and Vada Hammonds. She is survived by 3 daughters: Diana Omer of Madisonville Paulette Jones and husband Dennis of Madisonville Charlotte Whitsell and husband Jerry of Madisonville 4 Grandchildren: Michael Dyer and wife Missy of Dawson Springs Kelly Bollinger of Madisonville Scott Jones of Chicago, IL Ashley Jones of Owensboro 4 Great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandchild Niece: Janice Grismore and husband Mike of Newburgh, IN Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday June 23, 2013 at Oddfellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Bro. Eddie Fleming will be officiating. Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel is handling arrangements.
