Betty Sue Mattingly

Betty Sue Mattingly, 64, of Corydon, KY passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

Betty was born on December 18, 1959, in Henderson, KY to the late Leroy and Fannie (Holeman) Mays. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and enjoyed being with family.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers, Johhnie Mays and Phillip Mays.

Betty is survived by her husband of 47, Marvin P. Mattingly; two sons, Josh Mattingly (Carrie) of Evansville, IN, Michael Mattingly (Kandye) of Denham Springs, LA; siblings, Nancy Morgan of Henderson, KY, Dora Caton (Rick) of TN, Roy Mays (Connie) of Henderson, KY, Penny Mays of FL; grandchildren, Madison Vaughn (Zack), Turner Mattingly, Ethan Mattingly, Christopher Mattingly, Kristen Mattingly; great-grandchildren, Trenten Vaughn, Archer Vaughn; her grand fur baby, “Mazie”.

The family would like to thank Debbie and Wayne Mattingly, and Terry and Teresa Mattingly for the support and care they gave Betty during this difficult time.
