Beverly Burris

Beverly Burris, 77, of Corydon, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

She was born in Henderson to the late J.Y. Gish and Neomia (Lord) Gish.

Beverly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved fishing, traveling, and gardening, and she especially cherished the time she spent with her great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Burris; her siblings, Donnie Gish, Jimmy Gish, Jackie Gish, Mike Gish, Bettye Morgan, and Linda Carter; her grandson, Chris Crowley; her great-granddaughter, Kiley Hall; and her son-in-law, Sam Fulcher.

Beverly is survived by her children, Travis Burnette (Carrie) and Terri Fulcher; her siblings, Tiny Hargis, Sharon Alexander, Martha Schoening, Lucille Varble, Charles Gish, and Franz Gish; her grandchildren, Lacey Crowley, Tony Hall, and Steven Fulcher; nine great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Peep.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice or the Henderson Humane Society.
