Beverly Ann Lattimore

October 21, 1960 — January 19, 2024

Missionary Beverly Ann Lattimore, loving, kind, compassionate and holy; a servant, saint and our sister was born on October 21, 1960 to Mr. James Lewis and Ms. Beverly Patricia (Stevens) Lattimore. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Missionary Beverly relocated to Morganfield Kentucky attending Earl C. Clements Job Corps where she received a Commonwealth High School Diploma in 1981 and her Bachelor's Degree afterwards. An honor student, Missionary Beverly excelled at the top of her class. She made an impact where ever she went, beginning at Job Corps in the cafeteria, moving on to become a supervisor at ResCare, caring for those with disabilities, as she devoted her life to serving others. An avid weight lifter, she stayed physically fit as she enjoyed working out consistently where she became friends with, her soon to be Pastor, Harlan Armstead. But God had a plan....... Missionary Beverly, had a massive stroke, in which the doctors sent her home to her family to be cared for. After a year and a half of care and rehab, one faithful day, Pastor Armstead received a knock at the door, it was then, Sis.

Beverly, returning to Kentucky. That faithful day, 23 years ago, she surrendered her life to Christ. Thus, the journey of salvation began.

Beginning her new life in Christ, Missionary Beverly was a pillar of servitude and kindness serving at her church, Love Temple C.O.G.IC in many capacities, such as the Senior usher (doorkeeper), Jurisdictional Usher, secretary, as needed (all auxiliaries), van driver, custodian, caregiver for our seniors, Pastor and 1st Lady's loyal spiritual daughter and friend and her most cherished accomplishment, becoming a licensed Deaconess Missionary; in which she lived in holiness and righteousness serving God with her whole heart until the end.

Missionary Beverly was the epitome of love and service, as she served as a Candy Striper and Volunteer at Henderson Methodist hospital for many years, offering her beautiful smile to those entering, because she showed love and healing. Also serving as a Foster Granny, through the Audubon Community service at Jefferson Elementary, she loved nurturing and spoiling all the little ones! The children loved her and she was adored by all staff. After receiving high accolades for 5 years of excellence in service as a Granny, in 2020, Missionary Beverly began her assignment at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, a recipient of a Habitat home herself, she continued to pour into the community as the Senior Connection Member and AmeriCorps member officer assisting many seniors in providing housing and care. Missionary Beverly was passionate about giving and helping as she demonstrated as a Board member on the Henderson Homeless & Housing Coalition of Kentucky.

On Friday, January 19, 2024, our loving Father saw fit to call His daughter back home to the place she belongs, in his loving arms. Though our beloved Missionary Beverly has taken her rest; the love, kindness, gentleness, graceful, shouting, praising, hand clapping, giving, caring, holy soul and that smiling face has left an indelible mark on our lives. She will be missed and cherished for the rest of our lifetime. Missionary Beverly was preceded in death by her father Mr. James Lewis Lattimore and her sister Ms. Brenda Prince.

Her memories will live on through her loved ones; her mother, Ms. Pat Lattimore; her siblings; sister, Ms. B. Michelle Lattimore, brothers: Mr. James. L. Lattimore, Mr. Michael A. Lattimore and Mr. Rodney F. Lattimore, nephews: Brandon Prince and Isaiah Prince, nieces: Patrice Dukes and Allison Lattimore, Great nephews:
