Billie Gene Stone

Billie Gene Stone, 87 went to be with the Lord at 8:21AM Monday, January 1, 2018.  Preceded in death by his mother; Frances Elizabeth Stone, father; Izona Stone, sister; Mary Virginia Stone, brothers; Dorris Stone, Curtis Stone,  grandson; Jeff Slaughter, step grandson; Justin Jewell.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years Barbara Day Stone, his beloved dog Brandy Lou, 3 sons; Billy Wayne, Mark and Timothy Stone, step son; Earl Ray Jewell, 2 daughters; Vickie Popp and Debbie McNew, 2 sisters; Mildred Kellen and Ruth Brown, brother; Hugh Stone, 8 grandchildren, 1 step grandson, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Billie was a Korean War Veteran, Kentucky Colonel, avid UK Basketball fan, member of VFW 1114 Club, member of Lighthouse Outreach Church.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, January 3, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.  Pastor A. G. Winters will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Dennis Snyder, Jeremy Robinson, Jason Jewell, Ike Day, George Day and Randy Ireland.
