Billie Jean Wooters

Billie Jean Wooters, 84 of Henderson passed away Saturday May 23, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was born in Marion County, Illinois on March 2, 1931 to William Theodore and Fern (Gaston) Wooters. Billie was a cook and waitress at F Steakhouse in Evansville, a cook at the Henderson County Jail and was also a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Gail and Danny Wooters and 1 sister Betty Self. Survivors include 3 sisters: Wanda Meuth of Henderson Mary Ann Jeffries of Henderson Fern Holland of Smith Mills, Kentucky Nieces and Nephews There will be a private service in Zion Grove Cemetery in Dix, Illinois at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Riverview School or a charity of choice. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
