Billy Daugherty

Billy Daugherty, 82, of Reed, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Owensboro Regional Hospital.

Billy was born in Reed, Kentucky, to the late C.C. and Lucille (Paris) Daugherty.

Billy was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, J.C. Daugherty and Reba Daugherty.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Velma Daugherty; his children, Karen Falkner and Tommy Daugherty; his brother, Lee Daugherty; grandchildren, Kameron Daugherty (Kailey), Madison Daugherty, Drew Falkner, and Kate Falkner; and great-grandchildren, Brantley Daugherty and Brielynn Daugherty.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with Jennifer Hunley-Batts officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
