Billy Degraffenreid

Billy DeGraffenreid, 84 of Evansville passed away December 2, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Woodlands in Newburgh, IN. He was born November 25, 1929 in Beggs, OK to John Lester and Mary Kate (Winters) DeGraffenreid. Billy retired from Sears and Kuesters Hardware Store. He was a member of C.E.R.T. Team and he was a co-founder of Lorraine Park Neighborhood Association. He enjoyed working at his farm. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert Wayne “Bob” DeGraffenreid and one brother Kenneth Jack DeGraffenreid. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Dorothy (Russell) DeGraffenreid. 2 sons: David DeGraffenreid and his wife Susan of Newburgh John William DeGraffenreid and his wife Robbie of Newburgh 1 brother: Charles Ray DeGraffenreid of Shelby Township, MI 5 grandchildren: Rob DeGraffenreid, Brad DeGraffenreid, Carrie DeGraffenreid, Jennifer Garibaldi and Lauren DeGraffenreid. 9 great grandchildren: Josey, Shelby, Xavier, Hanna, Adam, Abby, Colton, Brooklyn and Mallory. Several nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday December 6, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Carl Mann will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday and Friday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
