Billy Dewayne Lord, 66, of Morganfield passed away at 10:07 PM Monday September 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Henderson County April 23, 1947 to the late Russell and Thelma (Gish) Lord. He was retired from the US Army after serving for 21 years. He was also a craftsman of many trades. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Danny Ray Lord. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sandra Jaye (Puckett) Lord of Morganfield; 3 children: Geana Larson and her husband Steve of Mt. Juliet, TN, Christopher Lord of Morganfield, KY, and Shane Lord of Henderson, KY. 2 sisters: Gayle Byrd of Corydon, KY, Sheila Gray of Morganfield, KY, 3 brothers Eddie Lord of Georgetown, CO, Harold Lord of Evansville, IN, an Timmy Lord of Newburgh, IN, and 1 granddaughter Rachael Anne Larson of Mt. Juliet, TN several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday October 5, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Rev. Raymond Abbott. Visitation will be 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Saturday October 5, 2013 at the funeral home. Full military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post #40 honor guard.
